We are offering a guided walking tour in downtown Detroit
 every Wednesday at 6PM from May-September, 2011

$10 per person -- cash or check only.

Meet shortly before 6 PM outside the Westin Book-Cadillac Hotel (Washington Blvd side)

Reservations are not necessary
(except for groups of 6 individuals or more)

Historic downtown churches from the 1800s

1900-1919 Architecture - a new tour for 2010
Great downtown buildings by Daniel Burnham, Albert Kahn and others
Detroit Athletic Club, Kales Bldg, Fyfe Bldg, Whitney Bldg, Ford Bldg, Dime Bldg, Penobscot #1, etc.

1920s Architecture 
Excellent downtown skyscrapers like the Buhl Bldg, Penobscot Bldg, Guardian Bldg, Book Tower, Broderick Tower, etc.
Movie palaces like the Fox Theater -- plus classic hotels, bank buildings and more from the best decade for architecture in Detroit.

1950-1999 Architecture

Coney Island Hot Dog Tour
A tour for lovers of Detroit-style coneys.  It covers the topic from A-Z.   Visit places like Plaka's, Leo's, Lafayette, and American Coney Island.  And the tour includes a free coney dog and small soda at American Coney Island.  It's Detroit's tastiest tour.

Riverwalk
We will "walk the walk" from Hart Plaza to Rivard Plaza and beyond
And we will find out about the rest of the East Riverwalk, the connecting Dequindre Cut greenway path, and the West Riverwalk too

Nudes in Downtown Public Art
Prominent places with nude or partially nude free-standing sculptures, architectural flourishes, and murals from the 1920s-1990s
Including at Cobo, MichCon Bldg, old Wayne County Bldg, BC/BS of MI, the Atheneum Hotel, the Frank Murphy Hall of Justice. etc

Courts, Cops, and Lawyers
The old Wayne County Bldg, City-County Bldg, Theodore Levin Federal Courthouse, Bankruptcy Court, Frank Murphy Hall of Justice,
Wayne County Jail, Wayne County Sheriff's Dept, Detroit Police Department, skyscrapers offices of huge law firms, and much more.

Brush Park Neighborhood
Several beautifully-restored Victorian-era homes from the 1870s-1890s -- plus ruins or remnants of other similar homes.
