"Detroit Urban Adventures" tours of Detroit:

Detroit Urban Adventures walking tours are available six days a week from March through November.  (This is our eighth full season.  These tours are the result of a partnership that began in 2010 between locally-based Detroit Tour Connections and a larger organization called "Intrepid Urban Adventures."  It's part of a network of Urban Adventures tours that are offered in cities all over the world.)

Each two-hour tour is reasonably priced at $27 per person.

Booking in advance is required.  Visit detroiturbanadventures.com to see full tour descriptions, prices, and starting locations, and to book your tour online.

"The D You Must See" (9:30-11:30am) / March-Nov / T, W, Th, F, Sat + Sun)
This 2-hour walking tour starts outside a cafe at 1555 Broadway.   The tour includes visits to Greektown, the Renaissance Center and the Guardian Building, plus we usually walk along the Riverwalk and see many, many other downtown highlights.  A ride or two on the People Mover is included -- and so is your choice of a free piece of baklava in Greektown or a  free coney dog at American Coney Island.

"Corktown is Popping!" (1:00-3:00pm) / May - Nov / T, W, Th, F, Sat + Sun)
This 2-hour walking tour of the Corktown neighborhood starts from outside of 2130 Michigan Avenue.  It includes the tour of residential streets, with lovely old Victorian-era homes, plus the business strip on Michigan Avenue and a look at the abandoned MCRR railroad station from the outside only -- plus a complimentary half-pint of imported Guinness or Harp beer (if you are age 21 or over) when we end the tour at the Gaelic League / Irish-American Club of Detroit.  Discover what makes Corktown such a popular area of Detroit.
